Each application has to contain the applicant's:

first name;

last name;

physical address of residence;

mailing address;

email;

telephone.

The specific documents required to be included in the applications are listed in the pertinent Program Requirements in the Education menus. 

The applications have to be submitted to the  Dean of the Graduate College or the Dean of the Medical College at the SFU Administrative Office by mail (see Contact) or email to admissions@sfuniversity.org

Upon receiving the application, the confirmation of receiving it will be emailed to the applicant together with the bank account information for application fee payment. Only after receiving all the documents and payment for the application, the application will be reviewed by the Admisssion Committee, the decision rendered and submitted promptly to the applicants.

Please see the calendar. Apply at least a week before the first day of each quarter to ensure timely review of your application.  

The acceptance email will be sent together with the bank account information within 24h of receiving the application.

The decision will be emailed within a week from the day of receiving the application and application fee. 

The SFU reserves the right to request additional documents or to verify the submitted documents.

Single and double occupancy bedrooms are available in the SFU dorm that is also furnished with a kitchen, study room, internet, WiFi. Please request in the application if interested.

Upon acceptance, the SFU may issue the letter to this effect. This is usually sufficinet ground for applying for the visa to the USA.

Non-refundable costs of applications to the SFU Programs are for:

Master of Science (M.S.) Program: USD 100 per application;

Philosophy Doctor (Ph.D.) Program: USD 150 per application;

The application fee has to be submitted to the SFU bank accout provided upon receving an application.

The application costs will be deducted from the tuition of accepted applicants.
